Gunner's sire is Twist of Blue Magic and his dam is Ida B Parker. He is registered grullo with no markings. Gunner was foaled April 2000. He stands sixteen hands. Gunner is extremely gentle to the mares and easy to handle even during breeding. All of Gunner's foals have been born easily and in perfect health. His latest is a beautiful grullo colt. His current stud fee is $500.00.
Gunner is trained for Western Pleasure and Trail, and he is an excellent prospect for any discipline. He has been used to give lessons to all skill levels, adults and children. With Gunner you can changeover from very inexperienced riders to advanced riders without disappointing either skill level. This horse will transition instantly from speed events to short jumps to pleasure events. He has a smooth, slow trot and canter, and can really step it out when asked to. He will walk alongside and follow without a halter or lead, stopping when asked. He will walk, trot, and canter on manual and/or verbal commands in the round pen or under saddle. Gunner has a bomb proof temperament. He has lived most of his life at a training and lesson facility with a variety of noises and people. Once he was even painted up as a tiger and used as a high school home coming mascot!
