This is AHR SMART CHANT, a 2004 AQHA grandson of SMART LITTLE LENA. This gelding is very well bred, cow bred on the top side and HANCOCK bred on the bottom side. This gelding has been hauled and shown in team penning and team sorting. He has a great handle to him and will really ride around when asked, yet he rides quiet enough for someone that is not experienced. He is a super dependable trail mount and will go wherever asked of him while traveling out nicely. He has been ridden in the hills of WV and on the roads with heavy gas and oil truck traffic. He has a good ground covering walk and will pop into a short lope from a dead standstill. He will self load into a stock trailer or a slant load trailer. This gelding will sit down and turn around and stops hard. He is athletic when holding the line for team penning and sorting. Quick and catty when asked. This gelding is a nice all around horse that will work cattle in and out of the arena. He has also been around the barrels and is easy to ride. This gelding is very smooth to ride and has nice transitions. Trail rides on a loose rein, stops with the slightest pressure. He is a big gelding standing 15.2 hands tall.
