Pepper- 10 year old, 12.1 hand gelding pony. Here is a turn key pony for any child or lesson program. Beginner/Kid Safe. Rides in both english and western tack but has been ridden more english. Pepper doesn't neck rein. He came out of an english lesson barn that was downsizing their lesson horses and ponies. He was used in their beginner walk/trot lessons. Pepper does canter too. He is also great on a lunge line for the little kids just starting off. He has been shown and is just cute as a button. Large stockier built pony that moves nicely. Large enough for a average size adult to ride also. No typpical pony personality here. He responds great to leg and not a stubborn pony. Pepper stops, backs and stands. Rides in a full cheek snaffle bit. Excellent ground manners. Safe for kids to lead, brush and tack up. No vices. Picks up all of his hoofs. Great for the farrier. Stands to be tacked, not girthy and easy to bridle. We have taken him around the farm and down the road and he was wonderful. Not spooky at all with tractors, cars, milk trucks, dogs etc. Very easy keeper, good with other horses. Easy to catch in a field. 100% sound. Please call Brittany @ 401-486-8784
