Twister is one nice tall gentle giant of horse. He is 15 yrs old and 16.1 hands tall. He is an experienced barrel horse that knows the pattern. We just took him to the barrel race on Groesbeck on Sunday 6th for the first time that we've owed him and he won money! His run was 17.2, he did a couple exhabitions before hand. Other than that he was rode in the home arena slow loping for fun. Twister is one nice athelete and has a sweet temperament. He's is a bit rusty and a went a little wide playing around the barrels. He just needs someone that will polish him back up and he'll put you in the money! He has the speed, wanting to go when cued, and is built for this sport! Also if you don't want to race him then you can enjoy trail riding on him just as well, he's gone on many trail rides with wagons, woods, rodes, by himself or with a group doesn't matter. I have a couple YouTube videos of his races to show you what he's got! And 1 playing around in the home arena. Company / Facility: Rock'n A Ranch - We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena/round pen, 100 x 150 riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. We also train/tune up other people's horses for them so that they will be safe to ride.
