Additional Comments:
Meet Buddy, a super sweet Quarter Horse gelding. Buddy was recently turned over to Crimson Acres Farm and Rescue due to his owner not being able to take care of him any longer. He does not have his papers, but we were told he was registered. Buddy is 14 years old and very healthy. He has no vices, injuries, or lamenesses. He's approximately 15 hands high, and is a big, stout boy. He is a very easy keeper and is happy being turned out with a run-in shed. He gets along great with mares and geldings, and is not aggressive in the pasture. He is an absolute angel on the ground and would stand tied all day long. He is great for the farrier, vet, and is easy to load onto a trailer. He accepts tack like a gentleman, and isn't cinchy at all. He takes the bit nicely and is easy to mount. Buddy lunges nicely and is learning to balance better on the lunge line. Buddy is not spooky when ridden and rides english or western. He direct reins and neck reins, and works off of leg. Buddy is a pleasure to ride and really tries to please his rider. He is not stubborn, and walks, trots and canters nicely and without problems. He has a fairly large trotting stride for a Quarter Horse and a smooth canter. He gets the correct leads when asked to canter. He is great in the ring, out in the field, and on the trails. He is usually ridden alone and is not herd bound. He also does great when riding with other horses. He listens very well, and stops and stands without being prancy. I would recommend an advanced beginner or up to ride him, as he can get up and go when asked. He would be the perfect mount for a young intermediate rider looking for a reliable, safe horse. He would also be a great husband horse or intermediate lesson horse. Ride him five times a week or once a month, Buddy is always the same calm horse. Buddy is a been there, done that type of guy and will only go to a loving home. Buddy was trimmed the 24th, wormed recently, and has a current coggins. Come see him and find out what a great horse he is for yourself! Can arrange shipping.

Please call/text 540-312-5967 if interested, can email but I don't check it daily. Serious inquires and good homes only.
