**UPDATE 2/16/13 - Jack has started full training and will now walk, trot, halt, and back under saddle. He has a beautiful low, natural headset and nice reach - even for a little guy. He is currently being ridden in Western tack but would be able to go English as well as I used to ride him in a snaffle. Jack will continue to be in training until sold, and his price will increase as his training progresses.**
Jack is a 3 year old Quarter Pony gelding, standing approx.... (read more) 14 hands high. He's a stocky boy with a thick neck, deep shoulder, and huge hip - I get compliments on him all time time! He is EXTREMELY smart and picks up on things very quickly. He leads, ties, crossties, loads (better on step-ups), bathes, lunges, and stands for farrier. Doesn't bite or kick - not a mean bone in his body. Stands to be tacked, and I have been on him a few times - he was great, nothing really bothers him. I just no longer have the time to work with him consistently which is the only reason I am selling. He's not registered, although he may be eligible for registration with the Quarter Pony Association. I have been in contact with them, just haven't registered him yet since I decided to sell. UTD on worming/shots/farrier...just had a Coggins done in October which was negative. He has nice movement and would make an adorable hunter pony, or could even excel in Western classes with his Quarter horse looks.
