Additional Comments:
A very nice young gelding with all the natural athletic ability in the world. Goose is a quiet gelding, with a willing attitude and personality. He rides great in the arena, on the trail, or out in the pasture, he also does well alone, or with other horses. Goose has been ridden in a salebarn atmosphere as a penback horse and is very comfortable with clanging gates, loud noises, and a hectic environment. We have taken Goose to the roping arena and have just started to track calves and steers off of him. We have used Goose for cattle brandings and he has helped to round up cattle and also drag calves to the branding fire. We have also roped some larger steers off of Goose and he handles well. Goose is very catty and has natural athetic ability and I feel he would be an excellent penning, sorting, or ranch horse. Also, because of his relaxed and sensible nature I think Goose would be a great Mounted Shooting prospect. We have had novice riders on him out on the trail and in the arena and he carries them well, a more experienced rider will obviously be able to get more out of him, but as far as going down the trail he is a trustworthy horse. We are always complemented on Goose, he is flashy to look at and doesn't mind putting in a hard day's work. His sire has produced some NCHA money earners. He is easy to load, bathe, and shoe and is current on all vaccinationsCongrats to Todd and Jane of Iowa on their purchase of this exceptional gelding.
