Additional Comments:
Come see the Energizer Paso!! lol This guy is really fun to trail ride. He hustles down the trail, ears up with a great attitude, but will stop and stand upon request. He just loves the trail. Beethoven is a 6 year old, 14 hands (measured w/a stick), chestnut Paso Fino gelding. He is a very solid trail horse and would be very suitable for a child or mature rider. He has no health problems, he is barefoot with very hard, well shaped feet, and is pasture kept, not blanketed, eats from a round bale, and basically just a very easy, low maintenance kind of horse. Up to date on everything. Goes out with mares, geldings, goats, donkeys, whatever. Not afraid of bikes, deer, or weird things on the trail. Crosses water and bridges like a pro. He walks, gaits, or canters. Actually, it is more like a lope! There is no trot in him that I have found. If there is a log in the way, he would prefer to walk over it (even if it is pretty tall) but will jump if you insist. He is still lacking in life experiences, so he is not a "made" horse, but he will be before long. He is by nature calm, level headed and friendly. Even when scared, he does not buck, rear, or run away. He just scoots to the side a little (it is VERY easy to ride, he is not trying to get you off) then looks at what is bothering him. If you give him a minute, he will calmly decide it was nothing to worry about. He is a little shy, but he has bonded with me nicely and would do the same for his new owner if treated well. I think if he had just one person to call his own, he would be very loyal, the kind of mount you could really trust. He is still a little worried in a crowd, but is very brave on the trail by himself. The nervousness in crowds will go away with experience. He can be ridden in a bridle or bitless. It makes no difference. Please email me with questions, or for a phone number if you would like to chat about him. Video can be found on youtube at Beethovenforsale, or I can email it to you (if video nazis block my video on youtube!) Did I mention he was cute as a button?
