This is a big stout LINEBACK DUN RANCH GELDING that ANYONE CAN RIDE. This gelding has a long resume, from ranch horse to pony horse at the track to 4H horse, he has done a little bit of everything. He has been used in eastern Texas as a ranch horse and been used to work, doctor, and sort cattle. He has been roped off of as well. He has been used to pony horses at the race track, he has been used as a youth horse and shown in 4H in walk, trot, and canter.... (read more) He has been used as a trail horse and has been trail ridden many hundred of miles on state park lands and game lands. He can be ridden by a beginner without difficulty. Notice in the first segment of the video he has no bridle on and is riding off voice commands and just a rein around his neck. He is very very broke, calm, patient, dependable, and kind. Excellent family horse. He is very quiet on the ground and very steady in his gaits. He is dependable out on the trail and not spooky at all. He unloads in new environments and does not look around or act jumpy. He stands still for mounting, tacking, brushing, etc. He handles all four feet easily, he clips relaxed with no twitch, he stands to be bathed, and he loads quietly. He has no bad habits and does not crib and does not weave. He is broke, seasoned, and stays broke. Rides in a halter and leadrope and bareback. Will lead or bring up the rear when ridden in large groups. Gets along well with all other horses and farm animals. He is 100% sound.
