Shasta would make a great trail horse for a beginner or someone who has lost their confidance. He has done some endurance training, and just completed a 50 mile endurance ride in Florida on Dec. 15th 2012. He is very safe with no bad habits. He ties, loads, stands for vet/farrier, clips, bathes. He will cross water, logs, go through mud, up/down hills. Does not spook, buck, or rear. He is a very sweet, calm horse who needs a good home. Very good feet and goes barefoot.... (read more) We are selling him because he does not seem to enjoy the hard training it takes for endurance riding, but he loves to go on fun trail rides. My 10 year old daughter rides him on trail, and he is always very good and trustworthy. Stands to be mounted and goes with or without a bit.
