Additional Comments:
Zoey is an adorable ArabXQuarter horse mare. She is 6 years old and stands approx. 15.0 hh. She is GREEN BROKE, trail savvy, and had been started lightly in barrels but never finished. She is very smart and has a lot of energy. Zoey needs to be worked a little every day to keep her calm and relaxed. She loves to hit the trails and is eager to please. She stands for the farrier, loads and hauls easy, hasn't learned to back out but turns calmly in our 2 horse slant and walks out, she doesn't really like bathing (warm water and cross ties would help). She walks, trots, and canters on que, neck reins, backs, changes leads, and haunch turns. She is currently being ridden in a dog-bone bit with shanks and a tie down because she raises her head to avoid bit pressure. Zoey is up to date on all vaccinations, dewormer, and dental. Her feet were just trimmed and she is barefoot, she has very strong feet. She has never competed or shown but she would make a great gaming prospect for an experience rider. I wouldn't want her being worked as a rail horse. I think she would be to bored with that. I am currently using two other horses for 4H and OHSET and have four in my care. I don't have enough time to devote to this energetic and talented little girl and don't want to waste her potential. She is a joy to ride on the trails and has amazing endurance. She has been taken on poker rides in the woods, on the beach, and in the grasslands of madras. She has gone in the ocean, through rivers, over logs, and handles traffic and other horses fine. She gets nervous going out alone but can easily over come that. If you would like to make a date to test ride Zoey give me a call. She hasn't been ridden in a while and will need a tune up. I must see and approve the barn you'd like to keep her at. She has a strict diet of grass hay, beet pulp, rice bran, and safe choice performance horse grain I want her to stay on, she's not an easy keeper. I just want her to have more attention and riding time so she can continue to learn and work up to her full potential. Thank you so much for looking :)
