Smart, bold and talented 10 yr old 17.1h big bodied Oldenburg/Westphalian gelding. "Tanner" just loves to be worked. He is bold enough for eventing, has the scope for jumpers, and excels in the dressage ring. Because of his size, he would be a great gentleman's horse. However, I am 5'4 woman and he is fine with me as well in all situations. Tanner was bred for jumpers and is scopey, careful, bold and honest to fences both in the ring and out. He is pretty much point-and-shoot and is VERY forgiving of mistakes. Tanner has schooled up to 3'6 in the ring and is schooling novice level xcountry with ease - he jumps it all without hesitation from a trot or canter. He really likes going to shows and has done a combined test, dressage shows and show jumping. He is not a "finished" eventer but will begin competing in that this spring. He likes to trail rides alone and in company and will lead or follow - he went cubbing 3 times this past summer. Tanner is available for sale or for lease (preferably half-lease) at Waredaca, where he is stall boarded and we are training for eventing with Steph Butts. For sale to approved home only.
