2008 bay, gelding, trakehner cross for sale. Brodie is very beautiful with a single star, and is a big mover with 3 nice gaits full of suspension. He has excellent conformation with all the angles correctly matching back end to front with a nice uphill build. He has a very soft mouth and naturally rounds onto the bit. He is quiet enough to be ridden daily in a happy mouth D ring and has a willing and curious personality. Was started under saddle August of 2012 and is being ridden 3 to 4 days a week by a teenager. He also has been on some trail rides by himself. He is easy to load, haul, stands quietly for the farrier, and gets along well with others in the field. He is a very easy keeper, good feet, stays barefoot, and is currently living outside with a rug on and a turnout shelter for the winter. He currently sticks at 16.1 1/2 hands and will probably mature to 16.2 or 16.3 hands. He is a lovely upper level prospect and nice enough mover for upper level dressage or A hunters. He has not been started over rails or fences yet due to only being under saddle since August. However, jumping training will start this winter if not sold quickly. Sadly for sale due to a death in the family and having to cut back on number of mouths to feed. Price may be negotiable to a good home.
