Due to (human) health problems, Dogwood Trace Trakehners is offering its prize mare for sale. Ephinia is a wonderful dressage or eventing prospect by Oskar II *Pg*, who was awarded the American Trakehner Association's highest showing award (Performance Gold) for his success in dressage. Ephinia was described as international caliber by Trakehner Verband Breed Director Lars Gehrmann, who gave her a score of 81.5 and awarded her Grand Champion Mare/Filly at the 2009 American Trakehner Convention. She has been lightly started under saddle (walk/trot) and is ready for serious training. Ephinia is extremely talented, willing and has a wonderful temperament, but she is also very sensitive and has a lot of energy so she needs an experienced, calm partner to help her excel in the show ring. Ephinia is out of an imported German Trakehner mare by Polarpunkt. Loving and show home a must for this highly talented mare.
