Built Like a Tank

2002 Grade Quarter Horse Gelding. Selling as green broke, due to him not being ridden but 10 times in the last 3 years. I just want to find him the right home that has time for him as I get so busy and he sits for long periods of time. My boyfriend started riding him for me towards the end of August/2012. he's had about 10 rides on him since and doing great. He is however a VERY sensitive horse, you wont need spurs or a heavy bit or hands, turns and moves off your leg like a dream, very very light pressure. He needs a rider with a light touch and patience, I'm not sure if he was abused in the past before I got him but he acts like he was, he does get nervous about mounting in the saddle, he just flinches. has never offered a buck nor rear with us, he just needs more time under saddle and tons of desensitizing, which we do with him everytime we work with him, but someone is going to have to do that further, I am not out to scare anyone I am just being honest, he's very special to me but I am not doing him justice by letting him sit all the time. He will only go to a very experienced rider, very confident rider, that is what he needs.

He is up to date on shots, worming, farrier work, and current coggins. I have the Chiroprator work on him at least once per year if not twice. He stands about 15.1 but I will measure him for sure, very built gelding.
