Remington is a rescue horse that I took in to rehabilitate with natural horsemanship techniques. He was abused and because of this, hard to catch at first. I have started him under saddle and he may have been ridden because he will stand tied perfect and never was bothered by the girth or saddle. He had not been ridden much because he didn't act like he had a bit in his mouth, but is coming along nicely. He is quite lazy to ride in arena, still a little spooky and looks at things on the trail, mostly if you are riding alone, but enjoys being with other horses.... (read more) He stops great, backs, walks, trots and canters on loose rein. Very lazy at the canter, need lots of leg. He is starting to really get his hind end under him stopping and has a great rollback. He just needs miles and lots of riding. If you are looking for a wonderful project horse for cutting, or team penning or just trail riding he is great! I would like references, as I said he was abused and I would like him to have a wonderful home. He tends to dominant in the field, but is not overly aggressive about it. He is wormed, and trimmed and I have appt for vet to get his coggins and Fall shots, check his teeth so he will be good to go. email @ firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them.
