Stunning black sabino mare, in foal to a perlino dun AQHA/APHA stallion and due in spring of 2009 with a flashy, colorful buckskin or smokey black appendix foal. In addition to being a great mama, this mare is the best kids' horse you could ever hope to own. She was a camp horse for the last 5 years til we got her, and she has been a great pet to my own daughters. Super super quiet, not a mean bone in her. Lifts feet for farrier, needs no restraining for palpating, stands quietly for shots, takes wormer like it's nothing. Total treat hound, in your pocket personality. Super, super smart, can open some gates and stalls!! Loves to play in the water and/or be bathed - enjoys a swim. Just a wonderful all around mare with no "marish" attitude. Ever. Up to date on everything, just had feet done on 9/13/08. If you are a racing person, this mare's pedigree is impeccable. She is tail female to the blue hen, Lalun, and her pedigree goes back to the beginning of recorded thoroughbred history and contains legendary horses, top and bottom. Would be an asset to any breed-to-race barn. Tons of photos, have original JC papers in hand. She is ready to go.
