"FLICKS SURPRISE" grandson of "Peppy San Badger" on top & "Colonel Freckles" / "Dry Doc" on bottom of his pedigree. Very nice stout built 2 coming 3 year old bay gelding with a mind of a 7 year old. He is already a little over 15 hands. Looks like he will mature 15.3-16 hands. Great mind and conformation. You can pick up all four feet, stand him tied for hours, loads good on trailer. He is a people horse, comes to you to be caught rather than you having to go get him.
He is with a good trainer that says he has the "WANT TO LEARN" attitude. Accepts new things without a lot of fuss... He is learning the right way, not being snatched around and pushed too hard. He is neck reining, doing cross overs, roll backs, has a good stop on his hind end, side passing, trotting poles and barrels, and taking lead changes...Just doing a little of everything with him and he has a willing heart for it all. Whether it be roping, reining, working cow horse, even a great barrel futurity prospect..He will excel in any direction with the right person.
