Shiva Nataraja is a 16.1 hand 5 year old unraced registered Thoroughbred brown gelding. Shiva is schooling 2ft. 6in. courses and working on his lead changes. He works training level dressage and is relaxed and willing. Shiva just came back from Mid-South H.T. where he took a 13 year old that had only ridden him once around with a nice dressage and double clean x-c. He is an x-c machine and will jump anything you point him at. He is extremely beautiful with huge movement. He is an easy upper level event prospect but will also happily canter around the lower levels. He has also shown locally in the hunters, jumpers and combined tests placing or winning in everything he does. He was bred, raised, trained and shown by us. He is perfect on the trails and roads and can be ridden anywhere. He is super brave and has never looked at a jump. Truly loves the x-c, no problems with water, ditches, banks or drops. He has many siblings eventing and foxhunting successfully. He is sired by our late Irish TB stallion Gogarty. Gogarty raced on the flat in the U.S. and over fences in Ireland, running 73 times, winning $486,000 and retiring sound. Shivas dam produced him when she was 25 years old. Shiva is bred for soundness and durability! Shiva is a brilliant color, his hair coat is an extremely shinny black, he is a brown as he has a little brown around his muzzle and flanks. We get more compliments about Shivas beauty and color than we do all together on the other horses we take to events.
