Banjo is a 12 year old ranch-broke gelding. Big, stout horse. Has been used on the ranch and at brandings. Has drug calves to the fire and had ropes thrown off him. Can pony other horses with him, ground ties. Does well in a sorting pen - very cowy, stands to be mounted, great on the trail - will cover some country with his ground eating walk, not spooky. Okay with his feet, can be shod or barefoot. Loads easily in the trailer. Current on all vaccinations and worming. Neck reins, works off leg cues. This horse is well-broke but needs at least an intermediate rider as he still has a lot of energy (he is not "hot"), NOT a horse for a beginner. My 12 year old son has ridden him, but he is more than a beginner would be comfortable with. We bought him for my husband to ride, but he is out of town all the time and does not have time to ride him. Good home is a must.
