Costa is a registered thoroughbred gelding, 5 y.o. in April. never been raced, not tattooed, clean legs. Very sweet and loves to be fussed over. Has been in training for about 6 months now, catches on to new concepts very quickly. Easily comes down on the bit. Floaty gaits. Soft mouth. Easy-going and very willing attitude, great for an amateur or more experienced rider. Costa is a blast to ride, Has his lead changes. Was competing in local hunter/jumper schooling shows and has been very successful. Took home the grand in the jumpers and reserve in the hunters at his first show. Definitely stands out in a crowd and isn't your run of the mill thoroughbred. Big bodied. Isn't hot or fast and uncomplicated. Would be well suited for a young rider who is competing and could progress together, or a more experienced rider looking for a show prospect. I see a lot of valuable qualities in this guy and expect him to go far with the right continuation of his training. Wonderful on the trails. Stands still patiently when asked. So many good things to say about Costa. Unfortunately, I am leaving for college and I want to make sure he is getting the attention and experience that he deserves. Lounges, Loads, clips, ties. UTD on shots, worming, coggins and farrier. UPDATE: COSTA JUST WENT ON HIS FIRST HUNTER PACE AND HE DID AMAZING!
