Major is a 10 year old newly gelded gelding. We originally bought him as a stallion but decided to geld him to make selling easier. His first colt topped the sale in 2011 at $15,000.00. He was super sweet to work with as a stallion and is still a gentleman to handle as a gelding. He is super easy to clip, stands in cross ties for the farrier without anyone holding him, bathes well, loads easily, and you can mess with his feet very easily too. UTD on shots, worming, and coggins.... (read more) He is truly a sweet horse and will work great on anyone's farm.
Dead broke and kid safe. Rides and drives well. Can be handled by anyone, as a stud handled a majority of the time by women and teen girls. Super easy going and even more calm now that he is a gelding. Honestly hasn't been worked much this year as I moved to Michigan this summer and did not have time for any of the horses. Jumped on him last week and after a few minutes, he was working off the legs and soft in the mouth. Very laid back and rolls with the flow. Great for 4-H or beginner horse. Major has been shown in halter this year as well as in 2011. Major has an abundance of feather, clean legs, a large foot, and super clean hocks. I have had many people at the show ask if he was in the 2 year old classes because he is in such great condition for his age so don't let his age fool you. He is still going strong and driving in cart, he is a pleasure to drive and is easy to handle. We exhibited at the 2011 MGLI Show with him in the cart challenge. He did well and we accidently forgot part of the check at home... He has natural athletic ability. We have not drove him since then but he is the type of horse you hook up and it's like he was hooked yesterday. Major is broke to ride as well and does a great job at it. He is overall a great horse to work with. He can still be shown in halter and with a bit of work could show competitively in a hitch.

Major is a great horse to be around, he is broke to drive and does well, he rides great also, would make a great trail horse as he is calm and listens well. He has natural feather, this summer we pulled him from the pasture, threw shoes on and left two days later for Boone County Fair, he is a gentleman to show.
Major has a large foot and neck. Major is ready to be anyone's first horse. Now that he is gelded, he will make a great carriage horse, 4-H horse, definitely a family horse, and he is a super easy keeper. Major is just a been there done that horse and is still going strong at 10.
