Brought this mule less than a month ago for $1300 from trainer Clair Taylor in Paso Robles. This is the description on that add (www.equinenow.com/horse-ad-632081) "Acorn is a bombproof trail mule. She is afraid of nothing, trailers beautifully, great for the farrier, saddles, rides, and goes smoothly. 5 months solid training when she was initially broke last year. She is currently owned by an advanced beginner who wants something a little older and maybe a little bigger. She would be a great mountain mule and has been exposed to dogs, gunshots, cars, livestock, tarps, etc. I would recommend an intermediate rider if she is only going to be ridden occassionally, as she is a mule, but a beginner rider would be fine if ridden regularly, or out with a group. She will ride in front or back, alone or in a group. Totally sound and current. ' I just walked her around for a few weeks and when I got on her she was very hard to handle. I don't think this is a 'bomb proof' mule. I want something very broke so am moving her on.
