Sterling has a beautiful sculpted face like an Arab but it's all TWH. The mind, the ride, he is an absolute beauty. Well aged, well mannered Sterling is a great example of a classy walker. He naturally collects himself in the saddle and the rest is a glide ride. Very smooth in every gait with smooth transitions. Soft mouth, mature attitude and very responsive to his riders requests. He is a pleaser. Eager, willing, curious, perky ears with a great mind and pleasing attitude. Sterling, is great to clip, load, trailer, groom, handle...
Sterling has a soft grey coat with a long mane and mixed white and grey tail. There are not many horses that can move so smoothly and look this good doing it. On the trail he is excellent. He is not spooky at all and he is very confident. Point him in the direction you want and he will happily go. Sure footed, solid trail mount that can do no wrong. If you are looking for a rock solid trail horse that knows his job and loves doing it, look no further this is your horse. Come out and ride him, he is breath taking.
Excellent horse for an intermediate rider who likes to move out and gait on the trails.
