Additional Comments:
Will take best offer or trade for hay. You can put small children on his back and he don't care. Great all around prospect Yearling gelding, with great conformation, personality and unique color. He is a liver chestnut with grey/flaxen mane and tail, and dun stripe I thought might shed out with age but hasn't, a couple of baring on the legs, grey hair appearing between the front legs and roaning on the sheath area. He is something to look at. His pedigree is nothing to pass up either. He can be registered in the FQHR. He is out of my AQHA/FQHR Hancock grey stud who is 95.31 foundation. We use him for breeding, working cows and pleasure riding thru the pasture. The mare is a Watch Jo Jack chestnut mare who is also used for pleasure and cattle work. Pappy as we call the yearling is halter broke, leads, stands tied, and stands for the farrier, loads in trailer, and used to little kids, dogs cats and cow/calves. I have even placed my 1yr old on his back and he just don't care. I was working with him for halter showing but he had gotten tangled in some wire and cut up and into the muscle just where the chest meet with the front legs. The vet said he would be just fine for anything we want him to do there might be a little scaring. He is almost 100% healed. It is all superficial now. This colt can go any direction a person wants to take him. He could become the best ranch, feedlot, or arena horse a person could own. Or he could become a great 4-H prospect also. I have placed his temperament at a 4 he is great to handle on the ground at this time and is a young horse yet. I have saddled him and he acted as if he had been doing it all is life. I will continue to work with just saddling and lounging him, I use a very light weight kids saddle. With his pedigree take him and use him. He should mature around 15 to 15.2 hands or better. I was going to keep him back for a riding gelding for myself but decided I want something to ride now and not in 2 more years. You can go to allbreedpredigree.com to see his pedigree. I am asking 1500 Or Best Offer. I also have weanlings for sell I have a full chestnut sister to this guy, and a grey stud colt, so watch for their ads coming up soon. I can send more pictures if needed so Please feel free to email me @ cc_ranch@hotmail.com or call at 308-789-6591 please leave a message if no answer and please tell me where you saw my ad. Thank you for looking. Need to sell soon!! You will not be disappointed in this colt.
