9 year old double registered Bashkir Curly mare, 14 ¾ HH (stick measured). Great kids horse or small adult.
Hypoallergenic!!! Been there done that kind of horse. She can be ridden western or English. She has been ridden over 1,300 hours in the last 4 years alone for a huge variety of activities! Used to pony small children and other horses, 4H, break away roping, cattle sorting, horse shows both English and Western, gymkhanas, rodeos, parades, drill team, mounted shooting, runs with the flag at Grand Entry, trail rides, jumping (up to 2 feet).
Extensive mountain trail riding experience over steep ground, through rivers, and over bridges, will climb anything, loves to swim, no spook, safe ride for beginners up to intermediate riders. Good ground manners, stands well, great feet never needs shoes.
Soft to leg cues, side passes, turns on haunches, good stop. Trailers well, will stand tied overnight. She can easily ride bareback with a halter, or snaffle or shank bits. Can even ride with a piece of binder twine or bridle less! UTD on everything, including most recent dental March 2011. Absolutely no medical issues.
Some of her accomplishments including;
- Overall High Point Intermediate youth at recent horse shows including firsts in trail class, western pleasure, horsemanship, showmanship, and placed third in the jeopardy challenge! Also competed in Musical Freestyle Ride;
- Overall High Point Gymkhana horse;
- First place in 4H for showmanship and equitation.
Quick turns and patterned on barrels and poles. Never gets hot! Great goat tying horse and used at Junior Wrangler and Small Spur rodeos and jackpots for break away roping.
Great all around horse but sadly her rider would like to team rope and she just isn't big enough. She truly will be missed! This horse is amazing, such a calm nature but can have speed when asked. She can open up a whole new world for someone that is allergic to horses or just is a great horse to have around for any one.
