Patch is a good trail riding gelding. He is has good ground manners. He is easy to saddle and bridle. He is at the height that would be good for a shorter person or someone wanting to advance from a pony to a short horse. He is a stocky guy though. He can carry a big rider. I have never harnessed him, but I think he would be a good cart horse if someone wanted to train him to do that. He isnt spooky, and he has a laid back personality. He will load right into the trailer.... (read more) He will stand for the farrier. He isnt lazy, he will go when asked, but he would rather just walk. You can speed him and and will calm right back down, he isnt hot and doesnt get excited. He would be good for kids that already knows how to ride. He doesnt "truly" neck rein yet, but you can one hand ride him. I think he would make a good 4h project for fair. He has that hard to find look to him. If interested call or text 712-542-7711.
