Fenja is a very people-oriented five gaited Icelandic mare. This sweet mare is only for sale due to her owner's change in circumstances. A good home is a must for this beloved family mare! Her sire is first prize Mani fra Raufarfelli 2 and her dam is second prize, Kvika fra Ingveldarstodum. Fenja LOVES people and attention. She is not pushy, but she lives to be cuddled, groomed, hugged, and loved. She is five gaited, but at this time her flying pace has not be formally trained. She has a very easy natural tolt that is very smooth. She is a tolting machine! She will tolt for anyone. She also has a good trot. She listens well (even in a bitless bridle) and is willing to work hard in the ring or out on the trail. She is very strong and has a lot of stamina. She can go on the trails all day and is very brave. She really is best suited to a person that is willing to give her all the attention and love that she craves. With a little effort she will be a great pleasure/trail partner, and with some additional work may even be suitable for the show ring. At this point we would recommend her for a confident intermediate rider on up. With her solid bloodlines she can also be used for breeding and can be paired with one of our stallions before leaving.
