Doc is a very sweet and quiet horse that is ready to go to his forever home. He is a Standardbred/draft cross. He is a horse that is good for a beginner even a 8 year old girl can ride him which you can see in one of the videos!!! He is the Cadillac of horses because of his amazing smooth gaits at the walk, trot and canter!! He has been to local schools and does outstanding in new places. He has amazing movement and uses himself very well. Long strides and beautifully comfortable gaits. He is a very quiet guy that is not spooky at all and will go anywhere that you ask him to take you. He is quiet to work with and easy to handle. He will walk, trot, and canter with ease. He has been trail ridden and will go where ever you ask him to go and does well going out alone or with a group. He has been jumping and doing fantastic. He does great in the pasture and is towards the bottom of the pecking order. He was wearing shoes all around as he was used to being driven on the road but now he is barefoot and doing well. He is easy to handle on the ground and stands well in cross ties to do his feet and clip. We really can not say enough great things about this horse.
