Additional Comments:
âHankâ is a 4y/o bay gelding. He was taken in by the rescue in January of 2007 and we began training shortly after. He is now a friendly, well mannered boy and rides nicely. He is gentle, neck reins, will give to leg pressure, and is very smart and willing to learn and wants to please. Thatâs a combination thatâs hard to find and any trainer knows the value of a horse that posses these traits. Hank shows an obvious natural ability to be great at working cattle, especially team penning and cutting. He was sold at auction due to the fact he was chasing the baby dairy calves out in the pasture for fun! Hank is easy to work with in every way and is a pleasure to be around and work with. He is a little scared of fly spray still, but after the first few sprays, he finds the courage to stand still. Heâs a great horse for pleasure, trail, or could really make a nice working horse for a ranch pr competition.
