Additional Comments:
“Sassy” is a 5y/o paint mare. She was brought to the rescue in August of 2007 in awful condition, the result of a boarding agreement gone bad. After months of rehab and lots of time and tender loving care, she has progressed well and is now looking for a new family to love her. She is broke to ride and is very gentle. We have been using her during our beginner riding classes as well as took her to the Stockyards Christmas parade. Two small girls rode her in the parade and Sassy never took a bad step or spooked at anything. She is a wonderful horse. She has been a trail horse and was used by a teen girl in playdays focusing on barrel racing before she was neglected and brought to the rescue. She’s a great horse and would be a wonderful addition to any family wanting a horse that serves just about any purpose and that the whole family can enjoy.
