"Jackson" Classy Bay Ranch Gelding

"Jackson" is a 9 yr old, 14.3 hand Bay gelding that comes from the South Texas ranching area near Floresville, Texas. This is a classy little horse with excellent confirmation, and a good quiet gentle ride. He rides with a light hand, and will neck rein, stop, and back up with little effort on your part. I was told that this horse has had calves roped off of him in the arena, but I am not representing him to be a roping horse. I am selling him as a good all-around gentle trail horse. I think the Beginner and Novice riders will get along with this horse just fine, as long as they ride him with a light hand. He is probably best suited to the Intermediate and Experienced riders. I think this horse has the athletic ability and potential to be a good performance horse, ranch horse, pleasure horse, or dependable trail horse. He has no bad habits and is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle and mount, and does not get fresh or frisky when turned out, nor will he spook or shy in the pens, in the pasture or on the trails. This is a nice all-around kind of horse that deserves a good home.
