Rena is a Morgan pony cross. She is gentle and easy to handle. She stands quietly for the farrier and vet. Broke to ride, green broke to drive. Bathes, clips, and loads like a pro. Traffic-safe and sound. No vice or bad habits. Perfect do-it-all pony for the experienced owner. Fast, eager learner. Loves to work! Sadly selling... to approved home only.

Company / Facility: Pinewood Ponies - We are located right outside Yanceyville, North Carolina. The area is in the middle of what used to an Amish community and the roads still have signs posted that caution cars of horse drawn vihicles. Which makes it handy for training our ponies in driving and riding amongst traffic and logging trucks. The pony listed for sale has been trained using only firmness and gentleness. I use the methods of Pat Parelli and John Lyons in training , and highly recommend any horse/pony owner to read and put to use what they have to say! in the past, my brothers and I have trained many horses for other people and for our own use. My brothers are no longer training horses and after the sale of the listed pony, I do not plan to train any more horses due to the care of special needs children.
