"hello, my name is Missy! I am looking for somone to love me and ride me. I would really like to be someone's first horse!"
Missy is an awesome trail horse! She isn't bothered by anything- bikers, hikers, little kids screaming, bigfoot stalking her, she has seen it all! Missy has been over the river and through the woods. Gone over mountains and under tunnels. She has tons of trail experience and is good for any level of rider!
Missy has gone to gymkhanas and she really enjoys them! When she is run consistently and kept up-to-date on patterns, she runs in the 18's and 19's. When she is just run for fun every once in a while, she hits in the 20's easily on barrels. She is also really good at some of the "fun" patters that are seen less frequently, such as "keyhole", or "two barrel cow horse".
Missy has worked cattle. And while she isn't "competition ready" at this point, she doesn't mind a rope and does have the drive to push cows. It wouldn't take much to finish her off for cow-working or roping.
Missy has competed in English shows. She jumps beautifully and moves well for the hunter ring. She has gotten a champion and a reserve at a local schooling show.
While Missy would be a great first-horse, she would also make a great horse for an experienced rider as well! She has plenty of GO and is a very fun, enjoyable ride! Missy wouldn't be the best for a super young, or a super nervous rider, as she does get a little prancy when she is excited, or after she runs. She is by NO means a runaway and has a great stop, she just sometimes can be intimidating to someone who is super new to horses. Once you stop her and give her a few seconds to relax, she walks right out again. Missy has no buck or rear and has never tried to dump anyone. She has no buck/rear/bite/kick.
Missy is up to date on vaccines and worming. Her feet are done by a farrier on a regular schedule. She has no known health or hoof problems.
