Possum is a beautiful gray gelding that is a REAL RANCH HORSE and is broke to death. He is suitable for about any rider. He has been used at a therapeutic riding academy. He has been used for lessons for all types of riders and is very tolerant. He is very sweet and has the most loving personality you could ask for. He has a great handle and will neck rein, turn around, pick up his leads, lope circles on a loose rein, move off your leg, is soft in the face, side pass, stop and back up. You can jump on him with a halter and lead rope bareback and ride him all over. He has been used for all phases of ranch work including gathering, penning, sorting, roping, doctoring, pushing and moving cattle. He has been used at the sale barn to pen back cattle. He is a great trail horse and has been ridden miles and will go up and down hills, through rough terrain and down the road. He has been ridden in parades and is traffic safe. He is truly an all around family horse that is versatile in every way. Dad can ride him during the day on the ranch and the kids and grandma can trail ride and take lessons on him on the weekends.
