Additional Comments:
Jake, age eleven, is a kind, gentle and sound show horse who is easy to work. He's shod for show pleasure currently, however he can go barfoot. He's not at all spooky, wears his head well and works nicely in the full bridle. He's been used him in my lesson program for the past year and he has done a great job teaching intermediate and advanced lessons. He's not been used him for my younger riders as he goes a nice big trot and that might be too much for them. Jake's canter departures are lovely and he will back readily, stand quitely and wait patiently for his rider. We have taken him to the Saddlebred shows and he's won pleasure and equitation classes in the academy division. He will canter circles and trot figure eights and serpentines. He would also be a very good canidate for an AOT to keep at home or in a lesson program. He's easy to be around, loads, hauls, and clips easily and is UTD on all vet and farrier work. He's good for the vet and farrier. He is a much nicer horse than his asking price but he is for sale as his owner recently moved out of state. Serious offers will be considered.
