Beautiful, loving buckskin gelding. You would be hard pushed to find a nicer looking buckskin anywhere. I have been around this horse since he was four months old and have owned him for the last 15 months. I have had his wolf teeth pulled and his teeth floated. Major is a very sound horse. UTD on coggins and all vaccinations. Major has always had the best of care. He has good ground manners and stands quietly for farrier. Loads and unloads well.... (read more) He has no bad habits. He has had five months professional training in western pleasure and trail. He is short backed and an easy keeper. Does just fine on hay and grass only. Major has a very smooth gate, side passes and leg reins. Loves to be petted and easy to catch and tack. Farrier with 40+ years experience says he has best feet ever. Beautiful main and tail. Pictures are nice, but you should see him in person. Major is a very smart horse and would be good for western pleasure, trail, competitive trail, would make a great barrel horse. He will go slow or fast. Only reason we are letting him go, he is just too much horse for my wife who is at retirement age. Major would be best suited for someone with riding experience. Would not recommend for beginners. Listing him as having a temperament of three only because of lack of trail experience. Major was bred for a working ranch horse. A good home is a must.
