I have an 8 year old gelding for sale. He is a solid 17 hands tall. His name is "Sawmill Road" but we call him George. He is registered with the Jockey Club and used to race at Fairmount. After racing he became a pasture pet until I brought him home in April. From April until now he has been used as a trail horse. He has ridden out by himself and in large groups. I took him to Eminence, MO for a week of trail riding and he was awesome. Mostly walking on the trails but also some trotting and cantering. He kept his head and behaved like a gentleman. I would keep him if I could but my budget will not allow it. He would be great as a trail horse or for someone looking to get into dressage or jumping. George is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has a negative coggins. He had his teeth floated in February. He currently lives on pasture and is the low man on the totem pole. I'm asking $1000 but the price is negotiable.
