7yr old gelding. He has some gaites but his run is all QH. 14.3- 15 hands. Gentle and loving. Loves trail riding, rather follow the other horses, than be ahead of everyone. He rides better in a group (most horses I've rode do). In group ridings he would b good for a beginner. Riding alone he needs a confident beginner or interim. rider. He doesn't act up or anything riding alone, he just is little hyper and wanting to trot/prance for first few minutes.... (read more) Cars, dogs and things do not bother him. Will cross anything; water, ditches, logs, etc. He has two speeds; walk and trot (prance), unless really pushed to run. He has never kicked, rared up, bucked, or bit anyone. Does good tacking up, and for ferrier (has shoes on front feet now). Loves a trailer, no joke! Does good with fly spray and bathing. Pastures well with other horses. Can ride bareback. Thick built horse! Have had people tell me he looks like a Tenn. walker. Stands tied quietly. His only vice is that he doesn't stand to be mounted. He just steps out a step or two, can be easily fixed. Very fast learner. You can leave him in pasture for a good while and get him out and he will be same as when u put him in. I am a beginner myself and can control him with ease. So I would say a confident beginner could ride him. He is a great horse. He is my baby and will only go to a good home. Serious inquiries only!!! $800 neg.
