Additional Comments:
Bear is an excellent gaited molly mule that is TWH crossed. Bear has been used for trail-riding extensively and has the comfortable "cadillac ride". Bear is a "been there and done that" mule. Bear has been extensively ridden in the Badlands of South Dakota, the Black Hills of South Dakota and Big Horns in Wyoming. Bear has also been ridden just outside of Yellowstone National Park on the Shoshone National Forest and on the Custer National Forest in MT. Bear has also been used to pack camp and tools for working on trails. Bear is used to ponying/leading a packhorse.

Bear was recently used trail-riding for a week at the 2012 Wyoming Backcountry Horsemen Rendezvous near Pilot Peak TH outside of Cooke City, MT in August 2012.

Bear is used to ropes for dragging logs during trail work and also firewood to camp.

Bear has been used for gathering cattle during branding and fall round ups.

Bear has been shown in trail and competed in 25 mile endurance rides.

Bear has been used as the "miner's mule" during the Days of 76 parade in Deadwood, SD for the past 5 years. Bear has also been used as the "miner's mule" during the Days of 76 rodeo performances. Bear has also been used during the stagecoach shoot out during Days of 76 rodeo performances.

Bear's owner is the current president of the Black Hills Backcountry Horsemen of South Dakota (BH BCH SD). Bear has been used during BH BCH SD workdays to recon trails, complete trail maintenance, pack tools or lead a packhorse. Bear was used during BCH workdays for trail work including; brushing - trimming trees with saws and pulling logs/trees off trail. Bear is used to chainsaw work for clearing trees/logs on the trail.

Bear has been used extensively in parades and for outriding with wagons: including the Ft Pierre to Deadwood Wagontrain in 2008 - 50+ wagons and 250+ riders. Bear has carried flags during parades.

Bear is easy to catch, clip, trailer and shoe. Bear is current on Coggins, health, worming and vaccinations. Bear was recently inspected by local Vet. Bear is guaranteed sound.

Bear would be ideal for someone looking for a safe, solid and gaited mule for trail-riding. Bear would be ideal for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider either male or female. Bear would probably not be appropriate for child riders.

Bear's price is negotiable and ALL reasonable offers will be considered. Please contact Doug Bechen at (605)645-2296 Cell for additional questions/information. Thank you for your interest.
