Nice Thoroughbred Hunter Gelding! Great Mover!

"Calvin" is an OTTB gelding who stands about 16hh, and although he is a registered Thoroughbred with the Jockey Club, he is built more like an Appendix. Calvin is a very nice mover and a gentlemen over fences (has been schooled up to 3' with consistant work over 2'-2'6" fences). He excels in English diciplines due to his scopey manner over fences and willingness on the flat. This guy is 'point and shoot' so called as he will take care of an inexperienced rider. He is currently ridden by an advanced youth but has been used in a lesson program with intermediate youth riders. Very easy going to the fences and very consistant, pick a pace and he will stay with it! Beautiful trot and consistant canter on this guy. Has been ridden in hunter paces, through water and on trail. Really seems to enjoy being on trail (will lead or follow) and would probably excel in cross country. Good mannered horse, well behaved around kids and has been shown in showmanship as well as under saddle. Personality plus.
