Trigger had been sitting in field doing nothing for three years before coming to my farm. He had been shown hunters before being put out to pasture; he was used in a lesson program but his previous owner retired. I do not have small enough rider to get him back into shape and to his previous abilities. He has excellent gaits, jumps and very smooth to ride. He is going to be a project because when he feels he is done he will not go forward except at a slow walk. He has bucked when popped with crop but has responded to spurs. When he is worked consistanly he get better each day; here is my problem my rider is going off to college.
He is a easy keeper and His ground manners are excellent and will longe well. He ties and crossties; also stands for clipping, bathing; vet and farrier. In the right hands this pony has potential but on my farm he is going to sit in a pasture. He has also done some trail riding and did well following other horses. Other pictures avaliable please ask.
Trigger is for adoption to the right home with an adoption fee of $250.
