"Cibolo" - Super Gentle Sorrel Gelding

"Cibolo" is a 10 year old, 15.3 hand super gentle laid back sorrel gelding, that comes from the Hill Country ranching area near Kerrville, Tx. This horse is so gentle and laid back, that he is almost lazy. He is definitely for the rider that does not want to go anywhere or do anything fast. He has a good rein and good stop, but does not back up very well. He is definitely safe and gentle enough for the ultimate Beginner and Novice riders (including children). He responds well to all of his riding cues, he just doesn't do anything fast. You do not have to tug and pull, just don't expect to be in a hurry. This is a good horse for someone to learn to ride on, or would be an excellent horse to have when your friends and family come over and want to ride along with you. The Intermediate and Experienced riders can also enjoy riding this horse, because they will know how to keep him pushed up and riding the way they want him to. He does not get fresh or frisky, or want to buck after being turned out, and does not spook or shy from anything around the pens or in the pasture. He is very easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle and mount, and has absolutely no bad habits. This is a good all-around kind of horse that would be an asset to any family, stable, guest ranch or working ranch.
