Beautiful & elegant with EXCEPTIONAL conformation -- Abendlied is a 13 y/o, 17.0hh black bay Oldenburg mare. Prior extensive show history & experience on A-Circuit (including WEF) as a Regular Working Hunter (4' to 4'6") before time off for breeding.
VERY easy to work with and is ALL BUSINESS under saddle. Has incredible heart & will give all that you ask and then some. Trained up to 3rd level dressage and knows all the moves. Enthusiastic and brave to the jumps, and takes you right to the base.
An absolute dream to ride with a powerful, stretchy walk, airy, sweeping trot with loads of impulsion, and ground-covering, rocking horse canter. HONEST forward, no need for spurs or stick, and will collect & rock back onto hocks with ease -- just a SUPER athletic girl with spectacular movement. Could EASILY cross over and do the derbies. PERFECT for an amateur who wants an experienced partner in the show ring.
Started back into work this spring and is currently teaching a 14 year old beginner the ropes of the big sport!
