**Update January 2013** Catch now has begun jumping small jumps and LOVES it! She is brave and honest. She also has started her flying lead changes. Price to increase soon."Catch" is 15hh and may still grow more. She is a red dun with chrome, dorsal stripe, and leg barring. She is stocky like a QH but not huge. She is still feminine and pony-like. She is very cute and VERY sweet. Loves attention, loves to be groomed. In your pocket, puppy-dog personality. She is ALWAYS happy to see you and will knicker to you when you come to see her. She is easy to catch an will literally come to you and put her face in her halter for you. She is not herdbound and is often left in her stall alone when other horses are outside, she could really care less. Can go out alone or in a group, she is very non-confrontational with aggressive horses. She is currently out with a "bullyish" mare and just stays out of her way.**Catch is still very green but due to her calm demeanor, she will make a FANTASTIC children's project or 4-H horse. She is not spooky and is safe enough for a Novice rider to train on.***Started under saddle last Winter. WTC with rider quietly. Gets her leads and will go around on a loose rein . Rides bareback quietly. You can jump on her in her paddock and ride her with a halter on, she could care less.Turn on the forehand in both directions and starting lateral work. Trained vocally when i started her, she is very in tune with her rider. You say whoa on a loopy rein and she stops on a dime, even from a canter. Has been ridden in an indoor and outside. She is not spooky at all. She is more interested in having fun with you, than looking at things to spook at. Has had side reins on, and submits to pressure. She has a very soft mouth and is very responsive. She is learning how to flex at the poll and is learning quickly. If I still have her this Summer, I am planning to show her in a few dressage shows.I have ridden Catch out in our hay field alone, and she was fine. She happily WTCs out in the field alone, or with a group. I think she will be a fantastic trail mount. She has no naughty behaviors like rearing, bolting, bucking, etc. No biting, no kicking, I let children handle her(they bring her in and out with no issue) and probably they could even crawl underneath her, and she wouldn't do anything. Very respectful of space, and just wants to please. Very sweet and gentle when taking treats.Catch is great for most things. She is fantastic for lunging and ground driving, ties, Xties, good for vet and farrier, bathes well, respects electric fence, stands to be tacked and mounted. She has had her teeth floated and her wolf teeth extracted in April 2012I am not in a rush to re-home her and I am only letting her go to the perfect home with Training.
