Foundation parents, four of her sires are International Rocky Mountain Champions (Sebastions Mt King, Dakota, Barlow Chief, Tobe ..) She placed in top ten of her class at International Rocky Mountain show in 06. Belle can be a great breeding mare, likely to produce chocolates and blacks. She is a beautiful horse. Gaited, certified, has coggins and is ready to travel today.
She has potential for many things, having placed in show, and certified a gaited horse, as well as her excellent breeding.
The Rocky Mountain horse was developed in the mountains of Kentucky, so they are ideal trail, riding horses. Their gait is so smooth you actually can drink from a glass and the liquid will not spill. They are extremely personableanimals, and are ideal for children and people whose backs bother them. They can make great horses for search and rescue, as well as parades, or endurance riding. They are not used as eventing horses, jumping horses, since they tend to be smaller, around 15 hands, and gaiting does not lend itself to those events. Their tempers are very even. I have ridden my stud around mares, seen other studs behavior around mares, and they are nothing like Quarters, Arabians or thoroughbreds. They are elegant and non violent!
This mare has placed in the top ten of her class when shown. She has great confirmation and should make chocolate with white mane and tail, ( the unique and classic Rocky Mountain color) and black babies, her breeder explained to me. While he had not done a red gene test, he felt confident she would probably not produce red babies. Rockies are perfect endurance horses, can match Arabians for this, and are willing and loving partners to their humans.
She has potential for many disciplines, from showing to harness to parades...
I am updating this ad, since I just got a Coggins to bring her west, and hope that she is sold this week instead. Its an amazing price for a great horse.
Shipping Notes:
Presently in Indiana, her price includes her vaccinations for travel.
