Athletic 6 yo QH Gelding (May Trade)

He is a 6 year old, 14.2 hand bay gelding. He is sound, correct and has a very comfortable, ride-all-day, canter. He is trained in the Clinton Anderson Downunder Horsemanship Fundamentals.

He is very athletic, really smart, has incredible stamina and loves to work. He catches on quickly to whatever you ask of him. He is safe to work around, cross ties and is good for the farrier and vet. He is a real nice boy and loves attention.

He would excel as a working horse in team penning, reining, cutting, etc. or would also be a great competitive trail horse. He is quick and responsive to the leg and does not need spurs. He has never bucked or reared. He is for an experienced rider looking for a partner that wants a working horse, not a horse for someone to ride twice a month.

Like many of us who are into horses, we fell in love with his looks and perfect size for my wife but he has too much go for what we want. We are looking for a western pleasure trained, trail horse.

He is up to date on all shots and coggins.

May consider a trade for an older, (not old) sound, quiet, trail horse. One that has been there and done that and back, not just one that's been on a trail a few times with other horses. One that will lead, follow or go out alone.
