Chisum Sailing Bar is a 5 year old Buckskin Quarter who stands about 13.3 hands tall. He has lived in a pasture and is not aggressive but he does not let the other horses pick or push him around. He was started under saddle when he was 3. He loves jumping. Is very willing and brave to the jumps, honest jumper. He has jumped 2 foot 8 inches. However, he has been working steadily at 2 foot to 2 foot 3 inches. This pony has tons of potential and will take someone very far. He has a life time membership to Colorado Hunter Jumper Association. An intermediate child would have no problem handling him. Still needs to be finished, so recommend a child with a trainer to help finish and bring out his full potential. He is slow and steady in the hunter ring. He is also very calm on trails. Same horse at home or away. Loads, clips, baths, trailers, vets, farrier great. He has been started on the barrel pattern and poles. Has gone to fun shows. He has sorted a couple times and shows interest in cows. Would make a wonderful all around pony. Very smart and sane. He is the same ride if ridden every day or pulled out once a month. This boy can and is willing to do and try anything. Not spooky. Mellow easy going gelding. Unique buckskin coloring light dun markings and some roan and dappling. He can also be ridden bareback and in a halter. Has a light mouth and easy to stop. He knows flying lead changes. A Must see. Only selling because we want a bigger horse and do not have children of our own. We have had him since he was a yearling and thought he would be bigger. Would love for him to go to a young child that will love him and grow with him. If this add is up he is still available. Firm on the price. Have videos of him jumping.
