Look at this beauty! This is SUNSHINE! She is a nine year old registered (Jeni's Rae of Sunshine) palomino Missouri Fox Trotter mare that is road, kid and grandma safe. Her bloodlines include Danney Joe W., Gold Man, Gold Exchange, Zane Grey, and Mr. President just to name a few. I have owned/raised/ and trained her since birth. I know her like the back of my hand. She has been desensitized to EVERYTHING under the sun that I can think of... teeter totter, floaties, flying buckets, umbrellas, tarps, car horns, dogs running after her, etc... She crosses bridges, water, creeks, without hesitation. I have also worked cows on her. She seems to really like hunting them. LOL. Have ran barrels with her about 6 times. Tips her nose in toward the barrel AND disengages hind quarters really well to get around the barrel. She is not mare-ish and is not high on the totem pole around here. She rides great alone or with other horses. Always the first up to you in the pasture. Loads, bathes, etc.. She is NOT spooky and does not look for "boogers". She *USED TO HAVE* only two flaws that we have since worked on and seemed to have fixed!!! She had a bad trailering experience (not while in my care!!) and was very hesitant loading. We have worked on this... a lot of lunging by the trailer and resting inside. I am happy to report that she will now load into a straight load with no problem! She also used to pace. We worked on this in Missouri for our 30 refresher course. We worked on getting her head lowered and collected. She is now trained to be cued *if* she starts pacing..to lower her head and start foxtrotting. And, she will pace a few steps between transitioning gaits. Just cue her out of it. I am being honest about my horse! Selling because she is not one of my personal horses and she DESERVES to be someone's personal horse. She knows how to pivot (a little), disengages front and hind quarters, flexes, collects, side passes, and will lay down on cue. I could go on and on about her because this girl does it ALL!
