A very kind soul, this boy has heart and will win you over!!! But don't let that calm demeanor fool you; he's built for speed and endurance. Cairo LOVES to run! He needs someone who is not afraid of speed and is willing to let him go every now and then. He has never bucked, reared, or bitten and he doesn't spook. I can ride him in a halter and lead rope bareback all day. I can ride him on roads, mountains, anywhere! He has awesome footing.He was being used for a hunting and trail horse in the Lillooet area and then I got him started in barrel racing and pole bending, using him in high school rodeo and BCBRA, so he has diverse training.I think he would be best with someone who loves to ride trails, but wants some excitement to carry along with them. A sensitive one, he needs a soft hand and a soft bit. He was trained in a bosal.I have had him for 3 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him.
